Item Details:
Miller Maxstar 280 DX Series Auto-Line™ TIG Runner Welding Machine with CPS measures 8.6" X 22 1/2" X 13.6" and has a voltage rating of 208 - 575 VAC at 50/60 Hz. Welder is provided with an integrated 120-volt dedicated-use receptacle to power the Coolmate™ 1.3. Welder comes with 8' primary cord and has memory card data port on the front panel that provides easy up gradation of software. TIG Runner with Pro-Set™ eliminates the guesswork when setting weld parameters. It features sleep timer that conserves electricity and puts power down while the machine is idle for a specific time. TIG Runner has a lower bottom end and can weld 0.004 - 3/8" steel efficiently. It has a duty cycle of 60% duty cycle at 235 A. TIG Runner is featured with blue lightning arc starting that is tailored for each tungsten size to offer perfect starts. It provides precise adjustments with all-digital controls for greater quality control and repeatability. TIG Runner has pulser that is full featured with Pro-Set™ and provides 0.01 - 500 PPS high speed pulse for better arc control and faster travel speeds. It is provided with meter calibration that allows digital meters to be calibrated for certification. TIG Runner features Wind Tunnel Technology™ to offer protection to the internal electrical components from airborne contaminations. It finds application in precision fabrication, petro chemical, diary, food/beverage industry, aerospace, shipboard and more. TIG Runner meets CSA standards.
Features
- Pro-Set™ eliminates the guesswork when setting weld parameters. Use Pro-Set™ when you want the speed, convenience and confidence of preset controls. Simply select the feature and adjust until Pro-Set™ appears on the display
- Sleep timer conserves electricity. This programmable feature will power down the machine if it sits idle for a specific time
- Cooler Power Supply (CPS). An integrated 120-volt dedicated-use receptacle to power the Coolmate™ 1.3. The power switch on the Maxstar also activates the receptacle to help prevent torch failure
- Blue Lightning™ high-frequency (HF) arc starter for non-contact arc initiation. Provides more consistent arc starts and greater reliability compared to traditional HF arc starters
- Meter calibration allows digital meters to be calibrated for certification
- Wind Tunnel Technology™ protects internal electrical components from airborne contaminates, extending the product life
- Fan-On-Demand™ power source cooling system operates only when needed, reducing noise, energy use and the amount of contaminants pulled though the machine
